Women In Neuroscience (WIN) was my baby for the first three years of college. As someone who is truly passionate about social connectivity, developing this club in collaboration with my peers was the perfect opportunity to pass this value along to young women in STEM. I played a large role in constructing the constitution for our organization, as well as ideation and execution of club events, as Vice President.
My passion project during my time as VP was implementing our innovative mentorship program in collaboration with BU's Neuroscience Graduate Student Organization (NGSO). Through this program, undergraduate neuroscience students had the opportunity to meet with graduate neuroscience students to discuss anything from study tips to grad school applications to research opportunities. Even after my resignation as VP, this program is our organization's most successful endeavor.
Please feel free to follow WIN's Instagram, linked HERE, and show them some love!
